Our goal is to make it easy and affordable for families to get quality new and used gear, and to earn credit for any eligible gear they’ve bought from Suntrail before through our credit-back program.
Overview
- Gear must be purchased at Suntrail and may be returned for credit in future years, subject to assessment by Suntrail staff.
- Equipment is eligible for credit for up to three years from the original purchase date.
- Credit value is determined using a tiered system, based on the age of the gear within the program and the original purchase price. Normal wear and tear is expected; however, due to the inherent risks of skiing, broken gear is not eligible for credit.
- With the introduction of our Jr. Skate program, participants currently enrolled in the Classic program may make a one-time transition to the Skate program and apply eligible credit. Switching back and forth permitted.
Year One
- 50% credit of what was paid will be given if the ski is in re-saleable condition and does not require any shop work
- Gear must be returned before the Fall BSC Ski Swap (usually second Saturday in November) going into the gear’s second season
Year Two
- 35% credit of what was paid will be given if the ski is in re-saleable condition and does not require any shop work
- Gear must be returned before the Fall BSC Ski Swap (usually second Saturday in November) going into the gear’s third season
Year Three
- 25% credit of what was paid will be given if the ski is in re-saleable condition and does not require any shop work
- Gear must be returned before the Fall BSC Ski Swap (usually second Saturday in November), Gear will be done in the program.
